Retail transaction from the The Complete Journey dataset by Dunnhumby that contains household level transactions over two year from a group of 2.500 households who are frequent shoppers at a retailer.



Objective

Finding the right method in increasing sales revenue by 30% in the next year with targeted marketing strategy on customer behavior.



Summary Result

◉ Maintain customer "adult" by consistently delivering high-quality products, provide best customer service and engage in specific community.
◉ Increase market share in "early adult" by provide more "value-worth it" product and branding through tech-platform such as: Tiktok, Instagram, etc.

Overview

Samba Commerce is a fast growing ecommerce in Brazil, which just launched at 2021. Samba Commerce offers more than 15k products, and more than 50 product categories to the customer all over Brazil.



Objective

Create a company wide (Executive-Level) dashboard with main OKR (Objectives and Key Result) in this year about transactions to understand our business performance better.

Summary Result

◉ The company has 48K Customers, 1,8K Sellers, and 49,4K Orders, with an average order per customer is one and mainly for each transaction between R$ 51-200.
◉ Most orders dominated at Sao Paulo (SP) state with 19,6K orders mostly done by 6,8K customers of Sao Paulo city.
◉ Overall average orders per customer are only 1. However, several cities have average orders per customer more than one, such as Candido Rodrigues city, with average order per customer is 3.
◉ The top seller is cc419-b7556a, who handles 1.2K orders.
◉ Most of the transaction orders were purchased 76% by credit card payment type.

REVOBANK CUSTOMER SEGMENTATION

Overview

One of RevoBank's partners is RevoShop, a well-established e-commerce marketplace company. Over the past 6 months, RevoBank implemented a new promotion exclusively for credit card users. The promotion involves distributing RevoShop vouchers to all RevoBank customers via email or SMS.



Objective

Discover opportunities to customize the rewards program for each segment, optimizing promotion costs while maximizing benefits for both RevoBank and its customers.



Summary Result

◉ The “Recent Customers”, “Promising” customers, and “Potential Loyalists” are the top 3 segments dominating 45% of our RevoShop customer base.
◉ From RFM interpretation result, the segment that suitable for the best sales performance with low promo cost is the “Champion” segment which is also the top rank based on RFM score.
◉ On the other hand, to acquire customers in the lower-level segment or segments with low RFM values, we can target our marketing efforts more towards the "At Risk" segment. By reaching out to many customers who are sensitive to promotions, we can increase both revenue and profit.

The business type of The Look eCommerce is buying and selling clothes, where the faster the goods are sold, the more income they will receive.



Objective

Understand how the inventory development of a company in the field of fashion, we can also see the level of retention of existing customers. We can analyze how the store’s performance is in retaining its customers and how the merchandising system of a company is based on existing sales trends.



Summary Result

◉ TheLook eCommerce struggles to retain its customers, evident from its low customer retention rate, which is less than 5%. Despite its modest size, TheLook eCommerce manages to sustain a 1% retention rate over a 12-month period.
◉ Nonetheless, it is evident that TheLook eCommerce excels in acquiring customers, as demonstrated by the consistent increase in user numbers each month. This indicates that the customer acquisition strategy is performing exceptionally well.

LUXURA
E-COMMERCE

Overview

Luxura e-commerce is a company that focusing on selling luxury fashion products. The store exclusively sells several globally-famous brands, such as Adibi, Balena, and Celinna. These famous brands are partnering with Luxura to specifically sell and market their products to the Indonesian fashion market.

Objective

Luxura needs to decide which brands (Adibi, Balena, or Celinna) to focus on for marketing priority based on data from the purchase performance list.



Summary Result

◉ Consider Celinna as our main focus for marketing. So we
may have sales efficiency and be effective in gaining profits.
Suppose the company still wants Adibi products to be the main focus of marketing. In that case, it needs a campaign with a bit of higher promotional value to get a lot of enthusiasts or loyal costumer.
◉ Amount Spent on Celinna bring significant difference in purchase value compared to Balena and Adibi.
